Junchuang Auto Technologies Wraps Up Its First Annual Craftsman Skills Competition

In a bid to fully leverage the workforce’s pivotal role in the high-quality development of Junchuang Technologies, and to gradually cultivate a corporate culture that respects labor, celebrates skill, and encourages innovation, the company hosted its inaugural “Junchuang Craftsman” Skills Competition from August 16th to 22nd, 2023.   The event saw participation from 102 competitors across 4 contest categories, showcasing a pinnacle clash of knowledge and skills, exemplifying the elegance of “craftsmen of the nation.”

“Red Rabbit - Film Application - Flash Removal” Skills Competition

 Part1

 The competition kicked off at 13:00 on August 16th, featuring 60 contestants.

Before the competition, the judging panel announced the rules and scoring criteria. The contestants entered the competition arena in succession, marking the official start of Junchuang Technologies’ first skills contest.

During the competition, all participants were full of energy. Leveraging their accumulated hands-on experience, they diligently identified and resolved sample issues, competing fiercely against time to demonstrate their utmost capabilities.

 Forklift Skills Competition

 Part2

The scene shifted to the forklift skills competition, where cheers, applause, and whistles filled the air above Junchuang, attracting an increasing number of onlookers. Despite the growing audience, the intensity of the competition remained unchanged.

Complex driving routes, patience and skill-honing tasks like “Bottle Standing Through Narrow Door,” and speed and precision tests such as “Pallet Stacking” all demanded the forklift craftsmen’s continuous skill improvement.

After the judges announced the competition rules and scoring standards, the contestants promptly got into their competitive zones.

As the sunset and dusk fell, the deserving winners of the forklift competition were honored.

 Electrical Tools Usage Skills Competition

 Part3

 Another “new face” in the competition was the electrical tools usage skills contest, which drew significant attention. The competition comprised three tasks:

(1) Using a multi-meter to test the condition of transistors.

(2) Measuring the insulation resistance of three-phase motors with a megohmmeter.

(3) Measuring actual current with a clamp meter.

The format combined “practical Q&A + hands-on practice,” integrating professional knowledge with skill competition. It focused on evaluating the contestants’ operational abilities, equipment maintenance, and inspection skills, demanding high levels of overall and detailed expertise.

Before the competition began, the judging panel announced the rules and scoring criteria. Under their fair and impartial judgment, focused on continuous improvement, the winners were quickly determined, with the top three contestants emerging victorious.

CNC Machining - Pang Dwen Dwen Skills Competition

 Part4

The final day brought us to the most anticipated and visually engaging competition: CNC Machining - Pang Dwen Dwen.

Teams consisting of one engineer, one operator, and one assistant collaborated on the “Junchuang Star - Pang Dwen Dwen” project, which quickly became a beloved favorite.

After seven hours, or 420 minutes, or 25,200 seconds of meticulous crafting and endurance, this competition highlighted not only the manufacturing and technical skills but also the perseverance and heroism of Junchuang craftsmen!

Awards Ceremony

Following three days of competition, the first “Junchuang Craftsman” Skills Competition in 2023 reached its climax with the awards ceremony. Mr. Shen Anju, Chairman of Junchuang Technologies, accompanied by key company leaders, attended the ceremony.

During the ceremony, Mr. Shen expressed that the competition was not only a precise test of the contestants’ technical skills but also a direct “confrontation” and “exchange,” serving as a benchmark for discovering the company’s “Junchuang Talents.”

The competition provided a platform for employees to showcase themselves, promoting learning through competition, enhancing skills, and truly igniting a spirit of not settling for second best. It sparked the enthusiasm to learn, compete, and excel, creating a team of diligent, highly skilled, and professional craftsmen.
