The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Double Fifth Festival, and Tianzhong Festival, falls on the 5th day of the 5th month of the lunar calendar. It is a significant folk festival that encompasses worshiping gods and ancestors, praying for blessings and warding off evil spirits, celebrating, entertaining, and feasting.

To welcome this traditional festival, Junchuang Technologies organized a “Happy Garden Visit, Enjoying a Summer” Dragon Boat Festival garden visit activity. Everyone was invited to participate actively, feel the warmth of the Junchuang family, and better experience the charm of this traditional festival.

On the day of the event, our volunteers went early to set up the scene, creating a joyful and meaningful activity space for everyone.

Upon arrival, participants could join in activities such as signing in to wear colorful ropes, hanging duck eggs, fishing for zongzi, shooting the five poisons, ring toss, and making handcrafted sachets. The event was bustling with excitement, as Junchuang Technologies’ employees showcased their skills, giving their all to challenge the various activities. Let’s revisit the wonderful moments of the event together!

01 Colorful Ropes, Garden Cards, Good Luck with Hanging Eggs

After signing in, participants began by choosing symbols of good luck such as colorful ropes and collecting salted duck eggs and garden cards, then taking photos with zongzi mascots. Everyone’s faces were beaming with joy, marking the start of the festive atmosphere.

02 Fishing for Zongzi, A New Way to Get Closer to Zongzi

This year, we found a new way to interact with zongzi, replacing making zongzi with fishing for them to spark everyone’s enthusiasm. The small hook required skill to gently lift the zongzi, with everyone holding their breath and concentrating as zongzi were successfully caught by many.

03 Hitting the Jackpot, Wrapping Happiness!

Everyone was full of enthusiasm as the ring toss and shooting the five poisons brought the event to a climax. Volunteers laid out prizes such as cooling patches, Florida Water, summer quilts, toothpaste, lunch boxes, and more on the ground.

Under the guidance of volunteers, participants lined up for the ring toss, each with five chances to win. As the volunteer gave the signal, rings were thrown swiftly, and amidst cheers, some employees won their desired “spoils” on their first try, others on their second, and some were successful with every ring, all wearing joyful smiles.

Shooting the Five Poisons, Symbolizing Safety and Smoothness. Everyone gave their all, throwing darts at little bugs, symbolizing a strike against misfortune.
